Hubbard Broadcasting’s Washington, D.C.-based news outlet WTOP (103.5 FM) says two of its reporters will anchor the morning drive slot at the station.
Michelle Basch and John Aaron will host WTOP’s morning news program from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. Eastern Time during the week. Basch joined the station as a reporter in 2006; Aaron joined one year later and has worked as a reporter and an anchor.
“Michelle and John bring years of experience and incredible news judgment to mornings,” Julia Ziegler, WTOP’s director of news and programming, said on Tuesday. “They are both so excited to bring their passion for news to morning drive. Our listeners are in good hands with John and Michelle.”
