Cumulus Media’s CHR station KRBE Houston (104.1 FM) will host the fifth annual “A Night in the Dog House” fundraiser to benefit the Abandoned Animal Rescue (AAR) on Friday, November 4.

The fundraiser will see 20 volunteers — including DJs Kevin Quinn and Audrey Rose — spend the night in a kennel with a dog as listeners donate funds to the cause. The event will be live-streamed on the Facebook page of AAR.

“They say if you do what you love, it will never feel like hard work — which is why we are so excited to partner with Abandoned Animal Rescue,” Quinn said in a statement on Wednesday. “A night in the Doghouse? To me, It’s gonna feel more like a night in the Ritz-Carlton…if the Ritz-Carlton made their guests drink water out of a bowl.”

The fundraiser kicks off November 4 with a live broadcast by Quinn and Rose from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time, followed by the kennel sleep-over from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. More information about the fundraiser is available on the AAR’s website.
