“Alice Cooper Court” will be the third street name in the Detroit area created by WCSX-FM honoring Motor City rock icons. Other Detroit area landmarks include “Bob Seger Boulevard” and “Glenn Frey Drive”.
The official ceremony hosted by morning personality Big Jim O’Brien is set for September 23 at Eloise Asylum in Westland. The event will include remarks from Alice Cooper who will attend the unveiling prior to his concert performance at the DTE Energy Center Sept 25th.
“From Glenn Frey Drive to Bob Seger Blvd, we’ve celebrated great local musicians,” said O’Brien. “But NEVER has an artist and location made more sense than Alice Cooper Court at Eloise Asylum. We can’t wait to celebrate Alice here in the Motor City!”
