Dave McQueen began his radio career in the 1960s in Texas, eventually joining underground Bay Area radio station KSAN by the end of the decade. He was a fixture in the Bay area until his retirement in 2009, working at KCBS, KKSF, KFRC and KKCY, among other stations. McQueen was 78.
