JAZZ.FM91 (CJRT-FM) Toronto has a full line-up of special programs to celebrate Black History Month. The station is a 24/7 jazz broadcaster and a registered not-for-profit arts organization.
Daily audio vignettes narrated and written by evening host John Devenish will spotlight influential figures throughout jazz history. The mini-segments are also featured in a podcast series available online.
Also being featured is the Sound of Jazz Concert Series. The music series has been around for 45 years and features recordings of live concerts.
