KOMO Newsradio 1000/FM 97.7 and Talk Radio 570 KVI will carry the major 2020 election debates live. The Sinclair stations kick off coverage tonight with the first Presidential debate.
President Donald Trump and Democrat Presidential Nominee Joe Biden face-off at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland. The University of Notre Dame was originally supposed to host but withdrew because of Covid concerns.
The rest of the line-up includes: the Vice Presidential debate October 7 from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City and the Washington Governor’s debate from Olympia on the same date; the second Presidential debate October 15, in Miami; and the third Presidential debate October 22, at Belmont University in Nashville.
The stations will run the debates commercial free. KOMO will air post-debate analysis and fact-checking from ABC News. KVI will air analysis by afternoon host Kirby Wilbur and listener reaction.
