Canadian Radio Stations in Trouble

According to a new study by commissioned by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, 200 radio stations could be forced to close in the next three years due to advertising declines from COVID-19. Radio revenue is expected to drop $383 million this year with AM stations the most vulnerable. More HERE.

  1. Having already been cut to bare bones, the question is: Will many of these stations even be missed?
    Like so many turtles, the stations will stop returning to their nesting sites.
    As to the responses of audiences and advertisers: The depths of their indifference hardly gets a consideration.
