The 12th Annual Radiothon for Children’s Miracle Network across Lazer Broadcasting stations was a success. More than $450,000 was raised during the event.
The Oxnard, CA based company dedicated 42 hours of prime time programming to the effort. The programming for Radio Lazer (Regional Mexican), La Mejor (Spanish Adult Hits), Latino (Spanish CHR) and La Mexicana (Traditional) consisted of patient stories, parent testimonials, facts and interviews to raise awareness of children’s needs.
“These are epic times and we as broadcasters need to exemplify courage and double down on super-serving our communities. We are humbled by the outpouring of support from our listeners and partners,” said Gerardo Martinez, CRO, Lazer Broadcasting.
Lazer Broadcasting has raised over $10 million dollars for CMN to date. Lazer owns and operates 43 radio stations across 18 markets in California and Nevada.
