Raising Funds For Bay State School Tech

Kiss 108 (WXKS-FM), iHeart Media, Boston, is hoping to help fill the technology gap in schools. The station is partnering with the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents and the Massachusetts Department of Education to purchase Chromebooks for local students to use at home and in the classroom.

Kiss 108’s Chromebooks For Kids, sponsored by Tufts Medical Center, will run until Labor Day weekend. Kiss 108 will encourage listeners to make a donation with delivery of the Chromebooks scheduled to begin in August.

“When classroom learning resumes, the need for Chromebooks remains paramount,” said Dylan Sprague, SVP Programming, iHeartMedia Boston. “Access to technology is vital for students’ success. Kiss 108 and our listeners understand the importance of education as a foundation of future success.”
