Salem Radio Network’s RenegadeAV8R radio show is responding to the “mayday” calls from the airshow industry. Airshow performers, airshow event organizers and aviation history organizations are being impacted by COVID-19.
The weekend program heard on terrestrial radio stations nationwide and in podcast form is reaching out to those affected and offering them the opportunity to tell their story on the radio.
Show host, David Costa, told Skies Magazine, the airshow industry is in danger of collapsing. “We are contacting the aviation industry to join us in this mission. We all win when we all work together. The airshow fans will come back, but we will need to expand the audience. Our weekly radio show is already talking to the demographic and they are hungry for the stories from the airshow industry that we bring them.”
