St. Louis Cardinals baseball fans are going to get a chance to fight the Baseball Spring Fever. Starting March 23 KMOX Baseball starved fans can relive the amazing 2011 comeback season.
On August 25th, 2011 the “Cards” were 10.5 games out of a Wild Card spot. That was the start of one of the greatest comeback stories in baseball history, as the team ended the season with a World Series win.
KMOX will replay every pitch and every hit of that remarkable run, right through the game seven championship win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. The replays will include the pregame shows and the in-game spots will be from the stations current inventory.
KMOX Operations Director Steve Moore told the St. Louis Post Dispatch, “Right now it’s something to take your mind off what’s going on.”
