That’s the news from the FM99 & 106.9 The Fox Mayflower’s 23rd Annual Marathon Food Drive (WNOR/Hampton Roads, VA, and WAFX/Suffolk, VA). A new record of 700,000 meals will be served thanks to the donations.
The food drive took place simultaneously at four locations from 5:30 a.m. on Friday, 11/22 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, 11/24.
FM99 and 106.9 The Fox Brand Manager, Mike Beck said: “More than 700,000 meals will be created for people in Hampton Roads thanks to the donations raised at the 23rd Annual FM99 and The Fox Mayflower Marathon, presented by Bud’s Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, and Electric. Thanks to the volunteers, organizations, client partners, and the thousands of people who made donations of food and money to support the important work of the local foodbanks.”
