Last Friday, Nov. 15, Eric Goranson, host of Around The House With Eric G., and Jeff Tracy (JT), host of Barbecue Nation, participated in a live radiothon on KPAM-AM in Portland that raised $51,225 for Operation Helping Our Heroes. All monies raised will go to the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center where it will be used to support active military, veterans, and their families in obtaining benefits, services, and resources to meet their basic needs.
“Last Friday was a huge highlight in my radio career,” said JT. “I have never felt so mentally and emotionally tired yet exhilarated at the end of a broadcast day. I do know that the money will go to helping veterans and their families. That’s a very good thing.”
“I was humbled at the generosity of our listening audience and how they stepped up to help veterans, service people, and their families,” said Eric.
