KRMG/Tulsa has launched its 14th annual Stories of Light fundraiser to benefit Make-A-Wish of Oklahoma. The event is set to raise $300,000 during the three-day radiothon. It has raised more than $3 million since its inception.

The KRMG team will broadcast from LaFortune Park in Tulsa and encourages listeners to stop by with donations. Station staff will be joined by Make-A-Wish staff, volunteers, KRMG supporters, and past Make-A-Wish kids.

This year, a Green Country child will have his wish granted at LaFortune Park during a broadcast. He will be surprised with a ski trip to Canada when he and his family arrive at LaFortune Park.

“This Stories of Light fundraiser has become part of the fabric of KRMG,” said Levi May, Director of Branding & Programming at KRMG. “It is something that our team looks forward to every year and our listeners always rise to the occasion to help grant wishes for local kids.”

Listeners can donate on KRMG.com, the KRMG App, by texting WISH to 95920, in person at LaFortune Park November 19–21, or at one of seven Reasor’s locations (Brookside, Broken Arrow, Claremore, Jenks, Owasso, Sand Springs, and Bixby) on Thursday.
