KOA NewsRadio in Denver will broadcast a special one-hour program, “Columbine 20 Years Later: The Healing Continues,” hosted by KOA NewsRadio Managing Editor Jerry Bell and KOA News Director Kathy Walker to mark the 20th anniversary of the Columbine High School shooting. The special one-hour program will air on Saturday, April 20 at 12 p.m. and Sunday, April 21 at 10 a.m.

The program will feature interviews hosted by both Bell and Walker, who both reported extensively on the day and will feature those directly impacted by the tragedy, including families of victims and the faculty of Columbine High School.

“It’s a privilege for us to share the stories of those whose lives changed forever on that fateful day,” said Tim Hager, President of iHeartMedia Denver. “Twenty years later, the Never Forgotten Fund — which was established by KOA NewsRadio to honor the memory of the victims — has awarded more than one-million dollars in scholarships for worthy students.”

In addition to the on-air broadcast, “Columbine 20 Years Later: The Healing Continues” will be available for on-demand listening on the KOA NewsRadio website (KOANewsRadio.com) as well as on the iHeartRadio app.
