WDVE 102.5 Rocks For Children’s Radiothon

The “Home of the Pittsburgh Steelers” raised over $814,000 during the 10th annual DVE Rocks for Children’s Radiothon to benefit Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation. Over the past 10 years, the radiothon has raised nearly $5 million to benefit the hospital, which is the leading provider of pediatric care in the Pittsburgh community. The radiothon took place Thursday and Friday, September 28 and 29, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. On-air personalities Randy Baumann, Bill Crawford, Val Porter, and Mike Prisuta from the ‘DVE Morning Show, as well as Michele Michaels and Sean McDowell, shared stories from patients, families, and staff live from the hospital.

To amplify 102.5 WDVE Rocks’s fundraising efforts, iHeartMedia Pittsburgh’s radio stations Big 104.7, 3WS Radio, 96.1 KISS, and 105.9 The X hosted promotional donor hours encouraging listeners to support the cause.
