This is a follow-up to a story we’ve been following since June when it was announced that syndicated host Kane (Peter Deibler) was arrested and accused of second-degree assault by his wife, who he’s in a nasty divorce battle with. Prosecutors in Maryland have dropped the case. The Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office said, “Based on the hearing and on more than a dozen efforts to contact, meet, and work with the original complainant, our front-line prosecutor had reason to believe that the case should not be prosecuted.”
