No surprise here and it’s really not even close. Pandora’s brand awareness among 12-plus listeners is over 80%, according to the latest Infinite Dial study. That compares to 67% for Apple Music, 65% for iHeartRadio, and 52% for Spotify.
Thirty-two percent of the 12-plus population has listened to Pandora in the last month, compared to a distant 13% for Spotify and 12% for iHeartRadio. Twenty-five percent of the 12-plus population has listened to Pandora in the past week, compared to 10% for Spotify and 8% for iHeartRadio. And, just about half the people surveyed say Pandora is the online brand most often used, compared to 14% for Spotify and 10% for Apple Music.
