Salem Digital, Mobile Revenue Increases

Despite still having issues with how Facebook algorithms push consumers to Salem’s numerous websites, Salem reported an increase in digital revenue in Q4. The company took in $12.2 million in digital revenue, up 3.8% over 2014. Salem executives say the revenue bump has a lot to do with how Salem has improved how it monetizes mobile. They are seeing a lot of growth in mobile traffic and advertisers who are realizing they need to be on mobile. That has been driving the demand on Salem’s mobile products.
