Salem Q4 Broadcast Revenue Up 5.2%

Even with only $425K in political revenue in Q4 of 2015, compared to $850K in 2014, Salem was able to increase broadcast revenue over 5%. When you back out political, as every public company loves to do, the increase was over 6%. Salem CEO Ed Atsinger says NTR and event revenue was great for the company in Q4 and digital revenue was also up (3.8%). When drilling down into Salem’s formats, the 31 Salem News/Talk stations saw their revenue increase 8%. Salem’s 43 Christian teaching-talk stations was were up 4%.
