Funeral Arrangements Set For Taz

2

A post on Taz’ Facebook page stated he passed away surrounded by Sharon and his children. “We read your beautiful posts to him to let him know that he was leaving this world surrounded by much love, friendship, and admiration. He was a fortunate man to have you all in his life. A funeral vigil will be held this Wednesday at 7 p.m.; mass will held Thursday @ 10:30 a.m. Both will take place at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Paradise Valley, Arizona.”

The posts to his Facebook page started flooding in late last night when everyone heard Taz had died. Most people we reached out to last night were not even aware Taz was ill. After hearing about the news, Radio Ink Chairman Eric Rhoads commented, “Taz was a great inspiration to this industry, well loved, and one who moved the needle in radio because of his amazing ability to inspire and train. He was always uplifting to those around him, and he not only inspired, he innovated new ways to make radio stand out in a crowded advertising environment. On a personal note, I recruited Taz to work with us at Radio Ink where he was Vice President and General Manager. He was a member of our extended Radio Ink family and those of us on the team are mourning the loss of a former co-worker. He was a great man and we will miss him greatly.” Once we hear about funeral arrangements we will pass them along.

  1. Always so giving with his time, mind, and enthusiasm. As many would attest, I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. Prayers to his family and friends. Taz set a great example for all of us. RIP Taz. We miss you already.

  2. Jim was a giant. Like a father to me. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t quote him or share a story about Jim with an AE or colleague.
