Four Welcomed To GAB Hall Of Fame

On February 19, the Georgia Association of Broadcasting  inducted four broadcast icons into its Hall of Fame during a ceremony that included remarks from several legends of the industry and past Hall of Fame inductees. This year’s inductees included broadcasting icon, Jim Wilcox of WALB TV in Albany; radio and community advocate champion Jim (Jimbo) Martin; current owner of PMB Broadcasting in Columbus; two-time NAB Board Member representative for small market radio Randy Gravley; CEO of Tri-State Communications, Inc. in Jasper.; and pioneer television anchor and longtime WSB-TV Director of Public Affairs, Jocelyn Dorsey of Atlanta. Five $1500 scholarships were also awarded.
