What we know is it's a multi-year renewal with Michael Savage, no other details were released.

On Thursday, Beasley's WQYK in Tampa will celebrate the life of Dave McKay, the station's morning man who died unexpectedly last week.

Chuck Williams has been named Market Manager for Emmis in Indianapolis. He takes over for Charlie Morgan who was named interim Emmis-New York Market Manager in January. Williams had been the Market Manager for Radio One in Indianapolis for the past 11 years.

Matt Malone is taking the APD position and afternoon drive slot at Cumulus' X105.1 in Kansas City. Malone moves to KC from KURQ-FM in San Luis Obispo, CA, where he held similar positions.

Chris Daugherty has been named Assistant Program Director and Music Director at Beasley's HD983 in Augusta. He'll also host afternoon drive.

Michael Levine is promoted to PD at the Los Angeles radio station where he has worked since 2004. He began as Director of Marketing for KKGO FM. He's been helping with programming since 2007. Saul Levine's Mount Wilson owns KKGO.

On August 22 Dave Hill will take over as Program Director at iHeartMedia's Miami Classic Rocker WBGG-FM (BIG 105.9). Hill heads to Miami from iHeartMedia Portland, where he has been the Senior Vice President of Programming since 2014. Hill replaces Michael Gross who left the station in April.

PRAISE 106.1 FM in Baltimore and Philadelphia’s PRAISE 103.9 FM begin airing The Sound of Praise with Gospel singer Maurette Brown Clark in the midday slot starting Monday. Clark is an artist, musician, producer, business mogul, wife and mother. Clark said she's completely humbled and excited to come to radio.

101ESPN in St Louis is searching for a new member for its PM Drive show. The search is on for The Fast Lane show after former St. Louis Ram D’Marco Farr quit to pursue other opportunities. The new host will join Randy Karraker and Brad Thompson.
