John Kage is the new PD at Bonneville’s KYGO in Denver, replacing the recently departed Eddie Haskell. Kage worked with Market Manager Bob Call in Denver when Lincoln owned KQKS. With the sale to Entercom, KQKS became Entercom’s property and Kage became an Entercom employee. Bonneville got KYGO and KKFN plus picked up KOSI from Entercom to satisfy the DOJ. Shortly after the sale, Kage left to program WPOI and 97X for Cox in Tampa. When Haskell left, Call tells Radio Ink, “I knew John E was my guy. I know he and his son missed Denver. He has an amazing track record of success building winning radio station brands.”
