Hall of Fame QB Len Dawson will be cutting back his duties for the Chiefs Radio Network. He's been part of the broadcast for 31 seasons and now he will focus only on the home games.

Twenty-one-year veteran morning host Dave Daniels has been handed that role for Cumulus station 100.7 KHAY in Oxnard/Ventura, CA. Daniels has been an Operations Manager, Program Director, and morning host in Santa Maria and Visalia, CA, and Phoenix, AZ. The Dave Daniels Show debuts Monday, July 18, on 100.7 KHAY from 6-10 a.m. weekdays.

Today, FM News 101 KXL Portland’s Lars Larson is partnering with Leader Capital and prominent Portland businessman Harry Merlo to host a fundraiser which benefits the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

Hall of Fame Washington Redskins running back John “The Diesel” Riggins has just been added to the ESPN 980 roster. He’ll team up with Kevin Sheehan for the Redskins pregame show. He will also make appearances on other ESPN 980 shows.

Congratulations to a good friend of Radio Ink. Mix Group President Jason Garte, his wife Natally, and their 2-year-old daughter Bella welcomed baby Daniel Jason Garte to the family, Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET. Daniel Weighed in at 9 pounds, 12 oz. and 21 inches tall.

Marc Kestecher has been with ESPN for 17 years, and now he has a new role to add to his slate: lead play-by-play commentator for the NBA on ESPN Radio. Kestecher replaces Kevin Calabro who is now commentating for the Portland Trailblazers.

And they are: Trent Muldrow - Eastern region, based in Columbia, SC; Jeff Caudell - Western region, based in San Antonio, TX; and, Geary Morrill - Midwest region, based in Saginaw, MI.

Jeff Jarnigan takes on the role having 30 years’ experience in radio broadcasting in the Knoxville market. Cumulus’ Knoxville cluster is headlined by WIVK-FM.

Conry has taken over the 3-6 p.m. slot at Power Talk 1360/1280 in Modesto. Conry is heard throughout the Midwest, Southeast, and West Coast, and has been on-air in Central California for three years on Sacramento's News Radio KFBK. In addition to his own show, Conry has sat in for Jason Lewis and Mark Belling nationally.

Paul Giammarco will join Lite Rock 105/WWLI-FM in Providence to host afternoons as of Tuesday, July 26. Giammarco moves to WWLI-FM from the CW28, where he was in account management and development.
