Grammer To Perform At Golden Mike

Singer-songwriter Andy Grammer will perform at the 2017 Golden Mike Award, Monday, February 27, at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The Broadcasters Foundation is honoring Meredith Corporation's Paul Karpowicz with the Golden Mike Award, and Retired CMG Executive Bill Hoffman with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Roberts Named VP Country Programming At CBS Radio

CBS Radio gives veteran country music programmer Tim Roberts his second VP role. Roberts will also retain his current position of VP of Music Programming for Detroit, with direct programming oversight of Country station WYCD-FM, Classic Hits WOMC-FM, and Top 40 WDZH-FM. Roberts is also one of Radio Ink's Top Country PD's for 2017.

She comes to Q100 from KDND in Sacramento, to take over the 7 p.m. to midnight slot from Adam Bomb, who moves to afternoons. Ashley Z (aka Ashley Elzinga) has also worked with Ryan Seacrest Productions in Los Angeles as part of the digital media team, and was night personality at WKHQ in Traverse City, MI.

Neuhoff Communications has promoted Kathy Byerly to D.O.S. and Associate GM in its Decatur market. Byerly has held the GSM position for Neuhoff's five stations in Central Illinois since arriving from Springfield, IL, back in 2014. In Springfield, Byerly was LSM and an AE, after starting with the stations as a temporary receptionist in 2006.
