Lon Helton, who will be receiving his fourth ACM “National On-Air Personality” award at the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas this weekend, will also be celebrating his silver anniversary with Country Countdown USA. The show launched over the weekend of April 4-5, 1992.

Seton Hall’s famous student-run radio station – WSOU 89.5 FM – will welcome sportscaster Matt Loughlin ’79, traffic reporter Pete Tauriello ’76, and engineer Richard Koziol into its legendary HOF on Saturday, April 8, 2017. In addition, George Roskos ’09 will be presented with the station’s Distinguished Young Alumnus Award.

KISS-FM in Seattle has renewed and extended its agreement with the co-host of The Bender & Molly in the Morning Show. Bender recently celebrated his 16-year anniversary with the iHeart station. After signing his new deal, Bender said, "Sixteen years and I've still got the greatest gig in the world. I'm extremely happy to extend the ride."

The host of the most-listened-to Top 40 morning show in America is now waking folks in Central Illinois, 5-9 a.m. daily. Scott of the KISS Morning Show will move to afternoons starting April 3, with a brand new show.
