Ginny Morris Elected New Chair Of RAB Board
At its recent Board of Directors meeting, the Radio Advertising Bureau elected a new slate of officers, including Hubbard Radio CEO Ginny Morris who takes over as board chair after a two-year run by iHeartmedia's Hartley Adkins. Newly elected directors include Brian Beasley from the Beasley Media Group, Cherry Creek Radio CEO Jonathan Brewster, Mike Tarter, CEO of Forcht Broadcasting, and Univision Radio's Sabina Widmann.
Beasley Makes It Official. Finn Staying
Former Greater Media Market Manager Dan Finn is staying with Beasley Media. Beasley closed on the purchase of Greater Media last week, which includes three New Jersey markets Finn was running. His new title will be Senior Vice President and Market Manager for the Beasley Media Group.
Cumulus Promotes Two Programmers in Toledo
John DiModica (right) becomes PD for WQQO-FM (Q105.5) and Russ Ryder takes over as APD. DiModica will keep his shifts as Afternoon Drive host on WQQO and as Midday host on sister station WMIM (98.3 NASH Icon). In addition to his new role at WQQO, Ryder will host the Midday show on WQQO.
Bones Honored At ASCAP Country Music Awards
Bobby Bones was presented with the Partners in Music Award at the 54th Annual ASCAP Country Music Awards on Monday, October 31 at Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville. Creative Director Robert Filhart presented the award to Bones for his unwavering support of emerging and established ASCAP songwriters and artists.
iHeartMedia Names Gann To Regional SVP Gig
The company made the announcement Friday, promoting Brian Gann to Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for its Central Texas Region, effective immediately. iHeart has 15 stations in the region, including KASE 101, 96.7 KISS FM, and News Radio 1200 WOAI.

Twins Lulu and Lala have joined New York’s 103.5 KTU as nighttime hosts beginning November 14, weeknights from 7 p.m. to Midnight. Marissa and Marianela Gonzalez, better known as “Lulu & Lala,” first showed up on the Latin market’s radar in 2007 as part of The Luis Jimenez Morning Show on X96.3 in New York.
