Former long-time Entercom CFO Steve Fisher has been given the Distinguished CFO Award from the Media Financial Management Association. The award pays tribute to a CFO who has made outstanding contributions to the media industry. Fisher was Entercom's CFO from 1998 until his retirement last month.

They’re both industry veteran sellers who've been named Director, National Partnerships at Westwood One. Delanne Lang (right) and Diane Johnston will work closely with national brands and agency partners to provide strategic marketing solutions.

The CBS RADIO station names John Farneda  to the position he has been working in on an interim basis since early April. This marks a return to the station for Farneda who previously held the MD position at XRT for more than 13 years, from 2001-2014.

iHeartMedia in Nashville announced on Monday that radio legend Gerry House will be back on the air as the official voice talent for "The BIG Legend 98.3" (WSIX-HD2). Starting Friday, House will be heard several times per morning in the 7 a.m. hour. After a 30-year career, House signed off back in 2010. He'll be joined on WSIX by his “long-time male companion” Mike Bohan.

Entercom Charlotte has signed WLNK-FM afternoon hosts Matt Harris and Ramona Holloway to a new multiyear contract. The duo first met in Columbus working on the “Morning Zoo.” In 2000, they teamed up as a show for the first time in Norfolk, on Spanish Contemporary station WVNZ.

iHeartMedia’s "102.9 Now," in Dallas adds Kannon to the 2 p.m. -7 p.m. slot as of June 1. Kannon began his radio career at age 15 in Raleigh. He most recently co-hosted mornings at KVIL in Dallas.

Nationally syndicated radio talk show host and best-selling author, Dave Ramsey, again sold out his Smart Money event, this time in Orlando on May 18 at First Baptist Orlando.

Emma Villanueva is the new Community Engagement Manager at WBGL in Champaign, IL. Emma joins the station after graduating from Cedarville University earlier in May with a degree in Broadcasting and Digital Media.

Dr. Nino Japaridze comes to Edison Research to fill the new role of Vice President for Public Affairs Research. Japaridze will be based in Washington, DC, and lead Edison’s public affairs and international research practice, delivering strategic insights to public and private sector clients, and international media and development organizations.

Matthew “Doughboy” Florence is loading up the truck and making the move from Albuquerque to Southern California for a June 1 start at Rhythmic CHR station KVYB/103.3 The Vibe. Florence will be the station’s PD and afternoon personality.
