The only remaining half of Opie and Anthony, Gregg “Opie” Hughes, was fired by SiriusXM, Thursday. His former partner, Anthony Cumia, was fired from the satellite company three years ago after going on a racist tirade on Twitter. SiriusXM issued a brief statement about the firing: “SiriusXM confirms it has terminated its relationship with Gregg ‘Opie’ Hughes, host of the Opie Radio Show, weekday afternoons on the Faction Talk channel. SiriusXM does not publicly discuss internal personnel issues.”
