Ruedlinger Rejoins ERI As Senior VP

Electronics Research has hired James Ruedlinger for the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Engineering. He will have responsibility for managing both of ERI’s RF and Structural Engineering Groups. Ruedlinger spent the past two years working for Crown Castle as an Engineering Manager. He spent almost 15 years previously with ERI, from 2000 through 2014.

Van Pelt Helps Fund His College Radio Station

ESPN's Scott van Pelt was playing golf when a member of The University of Maryland's student-run radio station reached out to him on Twitter. The station needed another $1200 to stay funded and keep operating. Van Pelt graduated from the school.

Ryan Wrecker Gets KMOX Overnight Slot

In February, Jon Grayson resigned from the Overnight America show on KMOX in St. Louis. On Thursday, the station hired Ryan Wrecker to take over that shift. Wrecker moves to St. Louis from Fort Wayne, where he most recently served as PD for WOWO-AM. He's also been a regular writer for Radio Ink Magazine with a focus on digital.

MPR To Honor Founder

Minnesota Public Radio will rename its Saint Paul headquarters and broadcast facilities the Kling Public Media Center, after its visionary founder, William H. Kling. The MPR Board of Trustees made the decision but decided to wait until the occasion of the organization’s 50th anniversary to officially make the designation.
