Heather Park Just The Ticket For WXYT
Detroit’s 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM) is adding Motor City native Heather Park to the Jamie and Stoney Show as co-host. Her first day will be June 12. The show airs weekdays from 6-10 a.m. Park is the in-park host at Comerica Park for the Detroit Tigers, and the past host of Detroit Sports News on WWJ-TV. She is currently hosting Michigan Golf Weekly for the television station.
Trimmer To Beef Up iHeartMedia Phoenix
The company is bringing Aaron Trimmer to the Arizona capital to be Program Director for 550 KYFI (News), Fox Sports 910 Phoenix, and KYFI 2 (Talk), effective July 5. Trimmer will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the station brands’ on-air and digital news programming, as well as local events and partnerships.
Pat James Lands Operations Manager Gig
Eagle Communications Hutchinson, KS, has decided James is the man for the job and he'll assume the role for KWBW-AM/FM, KHUT-FM Country 102.9, KHMY-FM My 93.1, and all digital content, including HutchPost.com. He will also continue as morning host on KHUT-FM, a position he has held since he joined the company on March 1.

A seasoned affiliate sales professional, Maria Musaitef joins the team as its new Affiliate Relations Specialist, coming to the company from Envisage Radio Group in Los Angeles, where she was VP Affiliate Sales and Marketing. Previously, Musaitef was Advertising Sales Account Executive for Clear Channel/iHeart Radio in LA.
Keith Goldstein Appointed National Account Manager At Sun
In this role, Goldstein will work with the sales department, focusing on products including Shazam For Radio, The Hit List with Fitz, Little Steven’s Underground Garage, The Fitz Show, Sun Latino Networks, and more. He started work June 5.
Baxter Makes a Stop With Cumulus in L.A.
Cumulus has appointed Mary Baxter GSM for KLOS-FM and KABC in Los Angeles. Baxter joins Cumulus from Crossroads WOW, where she was Regional Sales Director. Previously, she was LSM for CBS Radio’s 97.1 AMP (KAMP-FM) in L.A. She also spent 16 years at KIIS-FM for Clear Channel/iHeart Media-Los Angeles.

The search is on to find a replacement for the 20-year WIVK/Knoxville morning team. Andy Ritchie and Alison Mencer are calling it a day after entertaining Tennessee audiences since 1997, and winning 10 CMA and ACM morning show awards along the way.

Out of the Motor City comes the news that WXYT-FM “The Ticket” is teaming Kyle Bogenschutz with air-talent Wojo for the new Wogo and Bogey Show, weekdays at 6 p.m. In addition, he will host Pistons Weekly, beginning June 8 at 8 p.m.
Toledo’s 92.5 KISS-FM Gets Its Mojo On
The station announced Wednesday, the debut of the Mojo in the Morning show, on June 19. The show will air weekdays from 5-10 a.m., broadcast from its Detroit studio. Mojo in the Morning will feature on-air personalities Mojo, Spike, and Shannon, who will look at pop culture and the latest trends in music and entertainment.
