WLIT-FM Chicago Adds Don Cheto Show
Don Cheto Al Aire will air Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on WLIT Poder 97.5 FM, a Showtime Media station in Chicago, the country’s fifth-largest Hispanic DMA. The Don Cheto Radio Network launched its first affiliate in 2009. The show is now heard in over 30 cities.
Foundation To Honor TV’s Emily Barr
Graham Media Group CEO Emily Barr will receive the 2018 Golden Mike Award from the Broadcasters Foundation of America on March 5, 2018, at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The annual black-tie gala is a major fundraiser for the Broadcasters Foundation. Barr leads the seven-station broadcast television division of Graham Media Holdings.
Bortnick Lands SVP Gig At GMP
Gen Media Partners has hired Chuck Bortnick to the newly created position of Senior VP, Integrated Platforms. Bortnick will help GMP grow revenue across all of its platforms -- national, network, digital, and out-of-home. Most recently, Bortnick operated his own business intermediary/brokerage firm.

Craig Carton has listed his New Jersey mansion for $2.4 million. Carton resigned from the highly rated Boomer & Carton show last month after the feds accused him of being part of a ponzi scheme to pay off millions in gambling debts.
Peck To Host Middays At Chi-Town’s WJMK
CBS Radio Chicago has appointed Brian Peck to the midday slot beginning Monday, November 6. He will be heard from 10 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. on WJMK, 104.3 “K-Hits.” Current midday personality Jeffrey T. Mason will move to the new afternoon drive slot of 2:30-7 p.m. following the departure of six-year host Gary Spears.
iHeart Hires New Analytics Expert
It didn't take long for iHeartmedia to replace expert Radha Subramanyam. The company named Dr. Michele Madansky Executive VP of Insights, Research and Data Analytics.
Gardner Moving To San Francisco
As a result of the LMA deal between Bonneville and Entercom, Carl Gardner will move from Seattle to San Francisco to become Market Manager for Bonneville in that market. He was running the Bonneville cluster in Seattle. Bonneville will retain Steve Cottingim from CBS Radio as Market Manager in Sacramento.
Radha Subramanyam Leaves iHeart For CBS
The CBS Corporation has named analytics expert Radha Subramanyam Executive VP and Chief Research and Analytics Officer for the CBS Television Network. For almost six years Subramanyam has been President of Research, Insights and Data Analytics for iHeartMedia. Subramanyam's replacement at iHeart could be named as early as Thursday.
Nyren Moves To Cumulus
Marv Nyren has been named Cumulus' new Market Manager in Chicago, replacing Peter Bowen who left in September. Nyren joins Cumulus from Chicago Public Media, where he was VP for Corporate Sponsorships for WBEZ-FM. Before that he was President/Regional VP for iHeartMedia’s 13 stations in Jacksonville and Brunswick.
Tommy Back To Tampa
iHeartMedia has named Tommy Chuck Senior VP of Programming for its 14 Tampa-Sarasota stations. Chuck will also program Country outlet US 103.5 in Tampa. He said, “My family and I are grateful to once again call Tampa Bay home. I'm honored to be chosen to lead such legendary brands."
