The popular, nationally syndicated morning show is staying put at Cumulus. The show airs live, weekdays 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., on its home station Atlanta’s Q100. It will be distributed by Westwood One. 

Well, Elvis Duran and Medha Gandhi, anyway. Gandhi will join the nationally syndicated Elvis Duran and the Morning Show as its new co-host, effective September 1, on WHTZ, New York’s Z100. Gandhi joins the show from iHeartMedia Boston’s WXKS KISS 108.

Iliad Media Group of Boise, ID announced today the promotion of James Garner to Regional Operations Manager. Garner has been with the company for 11 years and is the Treasure Valley location’s longest-tenured employee. He has served as Program Director for several top-rated stations in the Boise market.

Scotty B has been named the new 7 p.m.-Midnight personality on Rock station WDHA-FM/New Jersey. He began his new position on Tuesday, July 24. Scotty B most recently served as a part-time talent and worked in production at Beasley Media Group New Jersey’s 95.9 WRAT-FM for the past five years.

Louisville Public Media has announced that its board of trustees has chosen Stephen George as the organization’s next president and general manager. George has served as interim president since January. He will assume his role as president effective immediately.

Jack Taddeo is the new Market Manager of the company’s five-station group in Des Moines. Taddeo joins Cumulus from NRG Media, where he was Market Manager of NRG Media-Cedar Falls/Cedar Rapids.

In Boston, Joel Weiss has been named Music Director at ALT 92.9/WBOS-FM. His start date is Monday, August 6. Weiss most recently spent 13 years as a Music Director and on-air personality at WSUN/97x in Tampa.

Zach Strief will be the new play-by-play announcer on WWL (WWL-AM), the flagship station of the New Orleans Saints when the new season gets underway. Strief, who played offensive tackle for the Saints from 2006-2017, will join former teammate Deuce McAllister in the booth.

Boston’s NPR station WBUR has named Meghna Chakrabarti and David Folkenflik the new co-hosts of On Point, the weekday News and Talk program distributed to almost 300 NPR stations nationwide.

Fredericksburg, VA, stations WBQB (B101.5) and NewsTalk 1230 WFVA have hired Fredericksburg native Amanda (Mandy) Smith as Marketing Director. Smith will manage promotions, events, and social media for the stations and accompanying digital platforms.
