Bryce Segall has been named music director and evening talent for ALT 92.3 (WNYL-FM) in New York, effective July 2. In addition, Dan Stone will join ALT 92.3 as imaging director, effective June 25.

WMAL is reporting that Frank Harden, one-half of the radio team Harden and Weaver, died Friday at the age of 95. Together with, Jackson Weaver the duo was a ratings and revenue-generating juggernaut that drove WMAL to the top of Washington’s radio business for more than three decades.

Chattanooga Host Gets Shot The Arrested

WGOW-FM Morning Man Jeff Styles was shot in the arm after he approached a vehicle with a tomahawk style weapon in a road rage incident. According to local reports, Styles then struck the windshield with that weapon and was then shot by the driver of the vehicle.
