Lefsetz Gets His Own Show

Bob Lefsetz has one of the longest-running and most popular newsletters about music and culture that has ever been written — everyone in that space reads what the outspoken Lefsetz has to say. He's now getting his own show on SiriusXM, called "Lefsetz Live." The show will air Tuesdays at 7 pm ET on channel 106.

Sedano Moves to Afternoons in L.A.

Effective September 4, Travis Rodgers will joinng morning show host Keyshawn Johnson and LZ Granderson on ESPNLA 710 as Jorge Sedano moves to afternoons. Sedano tweeted about his move Tuesday. His show will from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and include a rotating group of co-hosts.

Fruge Lands With Radio One

Charese Fruge joins RadioNOW 100.9 (WNOW) Indianapolis and RadioNOW Houston (KROI) as the new CHR Format Captain and Program Director for both markets. Fruge has over 20 years of experience in the radio business and has worked in Nashville, New York, Los Angeles, and most recently as VP of Programming for the six-station Entercom cluster in Houston.

KOSI  Adds Jenny D to Morning Show

Bonneville’s KOSI-FM in Denver is adding crosstown KWOF-FM morning personality Jenny D to its morning show as a co-host to Sean Henry. It’s a return to the cluster for Jenny; she worked as an air talent in the past at KYGO-FM.

iHeartMedia San Francisco has secured multi-year contracts for weekday morning hosts Marcus & Sandy on STAR 101.3 (KIOI-FM) as well as hosts of “The Morning Breeze” Jack Kulp and Carolyn McArdle, heard on 98.1 The Breeze (KISQ-FM).

Entercom Host Struck By Lightning

Wisconsin sports talker Bill Michaels was hit by lightning last Thursday in Eau Claire while hosting his show from a golf club. Michaels told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel he was sitting at a metal-mesh table when he was hit.

Cumulus Nashville is bringing Clay Travis back to WGFX/104.5 The Zone in Nashville to cover pre-mornings 5A-6A. Travis got his start in radio as co-host of the popular 3HL on WGFX in 2010. The program will lead into The Wake Up Zone, which airs weekdays from 6A-10A. 

Cumulus Warming Up Mornings With New Team in Cincy

WRRM-FM/WARM 98.5 will be waking up Cincinnati listeners in a new way starting Monday when "The WARM Morning Show with Jim and Amanda” debuts. The program features Co-Hosts Jim Day, top-rated WRRM personality and morning show producer, and Amanda Orlando, who joins WARM 98.5 from sister station WNNF-FM/NASH FM 94.1 in Cincinnati, where she was Midday Host and APD.

Moyer has been with Alpha Portland since 2016 as LSM for KXTG and KUFO. Prior to Alpha, Moyer was an AE for Comcast Spotlight and Fox affiliate KPTV.
