RJ Curtis has been hired as the new Executive Director of the Country Radio Broadcasters/Country Radio Seminar. Bill Mayne has been Executive Director for nearly a decade. This past April, Mayne announced he would be leaving following the 50th Anniversary year of Country Radio Seminar.

Kelli Turner has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of SESAC Holdings, it was announced Wednesday by John Josephson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SESAC, whom Turner will report to.

iHeartMedia has named Cristina Mayer Marketing Director for Washington DC–Baltimore. Mayer joins the DC–Baltimore region from Mimi Brown Studio in New York City where she most recently served as Production Manager.

The Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio group and Nielsen Music announce that Grisel Barajas, PD and Host of La Grande 105.1 FM/Indianapolis has been named the MIW Group-Nielsen Music Programming Mentee. 

Mike Clark spent 22 years on the air at WRIF in Detroit. He had been battling health issues the past few years and died in his sleep Monday night at the age of 63. Up until five years ago, Clark and Drew Lane hosted Drew and Mike on the legendary rock station. They were together for 20 years.

Sun Broadcast Group has appointed Rich O’Brien as its VP of Programing & Affiliate Relations. His first day was October 15 and he will be based in Boston. O’Brien comes to SBG with over 25 years' experience in national radio syndication.

The Radio Music License Committee has announced that Ed Atsinger, long-serving CEO of the Salem Media Group, was elected Chairman of the RMLC at its annual Board of Directors meeting last week. Atsinger succeeds Ed Christian.

The Sandy Show will be delivered to stations Monday through Friday and can be used in morning drive or other dayparts, and with any music format. The show’s content will be delivered so affiliates can create their own daily customized shows.

Massimo Rosati has been named President of Binnie Media by company owner Bill Binnie. In this new role, Rosati will oversee all aspects of the media business including radio, digital, and outdoor.

Taylor Morgan (on-air as “Taylor”) has been named midday host for Top 40 station WJFX (HOT 1079) in Fort Wayne, IN. Taylor has spent the last three years working late-nights and weekends on-air at HOT 1079.
