The Broadcasters Foundation of America has elected John David, Jinny Laderer, and Deborah Roberts to its Board of Directors. The vote took place last Wednesday during the Foundation’s Board of Directors meeting in New York City.

Chris Conley has been named Program Director for New York’s 103.5 KTU. Conley will continue in his role as Program Director for 106.7 LITE FM as well as Adult Contemporary Brand Manager for iHeartMedia.

Beginning Tuesday, Papa & Lund with Greg Papa and John Lund will be broadcast on KNBR 680AM in San Francisco, weekdays, marking the return of Greg Papa to the KNBR airwaves via a multi-year agreement.

Albany Broadcasting has named Jeff Weber Market Manager of its six radio stations in Albany, NY. Weber joins the company from Charleston, SC, where he was General Sales Manager of two FMs.

Dave “Cruise” Madden has been named the new co-host of The Andie Summers Show on Beasley’s 92.5 WXTU-FM in Philadelphia. Madden initially joined the show as an interim host on January 2.

KJLH 102.3FM in Los Angeles has named Jamillah Muhammad as the Operations Manager of the station. Muhammad previously held the position of VP for The Lewis-Kortez Group.

Dave Hanson has been named Creative Services Director WLDI – WiLD 95.5 West Palm Beach. Hanson joins the station from WFLC Miami, where he most recently served as Assistant Director of Branding and Programming and Music Director.

J.J. Hemingway, who called himself “Your Spokane Radio Pal” died Monday, at the age of 65, after falling ill last week.

Liberal talker Randi Rhodes is back on the radio. iHeartMedia announced on Thursday that Rhodes would be taking over the 5-7 p.m. shift on Real Talk 910 AM in San Francisco. Rhodes has been delivering her progressive talk show via podcast. She was named one of Radio Ink's Most Influential Women back in 2007.

The Country Radio Broadcasters held the 2019 Country Radio Hall of Fame dinner and awards ceremony this week at Vanderbilt Marriott in Nashville. Four on-air personalities and two off-air broadcasters were recognized.
