Classical MPR’s Melissa Ousley will become the host of the Friday evening live Minnesota Orchestra broadcasts at the start of the 2019/2020 season beginning Sept. 20.

85 year old football Hall of Famer Sonny Jurgensen has retired. This season would have been Jurgensen’s 39th consecutive year calling Washington Redskins games.

Stephens Media Group has named Jessica Foster as Director of Sales for its Tulsa cluster. Foster makes the move from the local ABC television affiliate.

Independent radio and podcast company YEA Networks has promoted media executive Shawn Nunn to President. In the newly created position, Nunn will oversee YEA Networks’ popular nationally syndicated radio programs.

Country radio veteran Deidre Ransdell has been a Lexington, KY, Country radio fixture for 18 years. She joined WLXX in 2001.

United Stations Radio Networks has added Greg Janoff in the role of Chief Revenue Officer. Janoff will oversee all of the company’s advertising sales efforts. He takes over for Jim Higgins who left the company suddenly and without explanation last week after working for the company for decades.

Pat Kelley has been named General Manager for Salem’s Greenville-Spartanburg, SC, market. Kelley has previously served in management roles for Townsquare Media, iHeart Media, Viacom Media, and others.

The Philadelphia Music Alliance has announced that WMMR-FM on-air personality Pierre Robert is among the inductees to be added to the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame as members of its Class of 2019.

Brian Sines has been promoted to Market President and Chief Revenue Officer for Townsquare’s Texarkana cluster, which includes KKYR-FM, KPWW-FM, KYGL-FM, KMJI-FM, and KOSI-AM.
