The Jersey rockers are the latest act to get their own channel on SiriusXM. The limited-run channel will be dedicated to the band's music and will culminate with a private performance by Bon Jovi at a secret location in Miami on December 3.

Tanner Kloven is moved into the afternoon drive slot on CBS Radio Dallas-Fort Worth’s 103.7 (KVIL-FM). Kloven, who previously hosted nights for the station, joined the station in April.

WSOU Wins Two National Pinnacle Awards

The student-run radio station of Seton Hall University recently took home two awards from the College Media Association’s Pinnacle Awards program. The station won first place honors in the Best Radio Sportscast category for its broadcast of the Seton Hall men’s basketball Big East Championship game against Villanova.

The event was recently held at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. Actors Jonathan Banks, Steve Buscemi, Gary Cole, Conchata Ferrell, Dan Hedaya and Stephen Tobolowsky were named recipients. Named in honor of the late actor Art Carney, the Carney Awards were created by Elvis Duran Group CEO David Katz, his brother Jim Katz and Art's son Brian Carney. As expected, the Beasley purchase of Greater Media closed Tuesday. It was July 19 when Beasley announced it was purchasing the 21 Greater Media stations in seven markets for $240 million. On Tuesday, Interim CEO & Chief Financial Officer Caroline Beasley sent out the following letter, welcoming the former Greater Media employees into their new company

Edwards Replaces Steve Chessare In Detroit

Mac Edwards transfers from Fayetteville where he was running the cluster for Beasley in that market. Steve Chessare, one of Radio Ink's Best Managers in 2016, told Radio Ink, "I'm the luckiest guy on the planet to have had the experience of working with the wonderful people of Greater Media."

Hanlon To Run Charlotte For Entercom

Entercom has hired Matt Hanlon as VP/Market Manager for the newly formed Entercom Charlotte cluster. Entercom purchased WFNZ-AM, WLNK-FM, and WBT-AM/FM from Beasley when Beasley spun them off to close on the Greater Media deal. The price was $24 million. Hanlon replaces Rick Feinblatt, who was running those the Greater Media stations.

Digital Ad Revenue Surges To $32.7 Billion

The Interactive Advertising Bureau announced on Tuesday that U.S. digital advertising revenue for the first half of 2016 hit an all-time high of $32.7 billion. That's a 19 percent increase over last year’s $27.5 billion, which was also a record.
