Jimmy deCastro Leaving WGN
Jimmy deCastro is leaving WGN-AM after three-and-a-half years as president and general manager of the Tribune Broadcasting news/talk station. The announcement was made on the air Wednesday during the morning show with Steve Cochran. He told the WGN audience, "This has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life."
From Canada To New York
Victor Giacomelli has been named DOS for Emmis in New York City, which includes HOT 97, WBLS, and WLIB. Since 2014, Giacomelli served as GSM of Bell Media in Canada. Prior to joining Bell, Giacomelli worked for Corus Radio, also in Canada.
Selena Robinson to Co-Host Mornings At 100.7 LEV
Robinson makes the move to Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley to co-host Selena and Scott, for the Cumulus station. She’ll team up with Scott Evans, who has worked mornings at the station since 2011.
Marty Bender Joins Cumulus Cincinnati
Bender is hired as the new PD and midday host of Cincinnati Classic Rocker 92.5 The Fox/WOFX. Bender last worked at Hubbard's WSHE-FM in Chicago, where he was PD (until November 2015). Prior to that, he was VP of Programming at Premiere and Executive Producer of The Bob and Tom Show.
Morris To Co-Host Mornings On Long Island’s WALK
Jamie Morris will join veteran Mark Daniels on WALK 95.5 beginning Thursday, October 20. She replaces Cindy, who, after 16 years, is looking for a personal change.

Greg Hewitt Staying With CBS St. Louis
CBS Radio's AC station KEZK-FM in St. Louis has signed morning host Greg Hewitt to a multi-year contract extension. Hewitt spent the last year hosting mornings, before that he was the afternoon drive host for three years.
Thomas Gets A Cluster
Results Radio has hired Dan Thomas as Operations Manager for the company’s four-station Chico cluster. He replaces Robert Benjamin who left in July. Thomas will also serve as the ZRock Program Director.
Dubonnet To Oversee Northeast Region For Hall
Dan Dubonnet will pick up the responsibilities for Hall Communications Executive VP Bill Baldwin after his passing this month. Dubonnet has been with Hall for 31 years as manager of the Vermont cluster.
Brooke Taylor Joins Chi-Town’s BIG 95.5 As P.M. Host
Taylor’s country music show will be an interactive affair, with artists interviewed in the studio and listener calls being heavily featured. She starts her new job Monday, October 17, with the show airing weekdays 2-7 p.m.
