Radio One Richmond announced the promotion of WCDX-FM midday host Paris Nicole to APD. Paris began her career in radio at 16 years old as an intern at a local radio station. Paris went on to graduate from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Cumulus NY Names Tacinelli VP of Sales

In this newly created position, Glen Tacinelli will oversee all sales for 77 WABC, 95.5 WPLJ, NASH FM 94.7, and Radio 103.9, as well as Cumulus Media-New York’s digital assets. Tacinelli was previously GSM of 77 WABC, a position he has held since July 2015.

Southern California Public Radio station 89.3 KPCC-FM has added a signal booster to improve its coverage of the west side of Los Angeles. Listeners west of the 405 Freeway, including those in Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Sawtelle, and Brentwood, should now experience a stronger signal with less interference from other stations on the same or adjacent radio frequencies. The project took two years.
