Noory Renews With Premiere
Back in 2003, while hosting The Nighthawk on KTRS in St. Louis, George Noory was recruited by Premiere Networks to guest host Coast to Coast AM. He became the permanent host of the over-night program, replacing Art Bell. On Monday, Noory signed a new long-term deal with Premiere to host the show, which is heard on 600 radio stations. Details about the new deal were not disclosed.
Former WLW Host Headed To Prison
Four years ago, Robert McManus plead guilty to two felonies: the sale of unregistered securities and the sale of securities without a license. McManus hosted a Sunday morning show on 700 WLW called Safe Money America. According to the Journal-News, 18 local residents lost $2 million because of McManus's fraud. The investments were for two oil wells with the promise of as much as 15 to 20 percent return. A judge sentenced McManus to five years. READ MORE HERE
Cumulus Snags Steele From iHeart
Jimmy Steele is the new Operations Manager for Cumulus’ five-station Mobile cluster. In the newly created position, Steele will oversee stations WABD-FM, WGOK-AM, WBLX-FM, WDLT-FM, and WXQW-AM. He will also serve WXQW-AM as Program Director.
Is Cumulus Worried About A Hostile Takeover?
One analyst tells Radio Ink Cumulus' latest 8K filing is "a poison pill designed to prevent a takeover of the company." This will no doubt fuel more speculation as to what Lew Dickey may be up to after he launched a new company called Modern Media Acquisition Corp which was specifically created to effect a merger.
Eboni Williams To Co-Host With Curtis Sliwa
Williams will co-host The Curtis and Eboni Show on WABC Radio in NYC, weekdays Noon-3:00 p.m. ET. In addition to her new co-hosting duties, Williams serves as co-host of FOX News Channel's The FOX News Specialists. She replaces Ron Kuby who was recently let go from the station.

NAB Education Foundation Honors FedEx
Their annual Corporate Leadership Award goes to the transportation company for its FedEx Cares program, which invests in communities around the world. In support of these efforts, FedEx has committed to investing $200 million in more than 200 communities by 2020.
These Fundraising Stations Are Legends
The three Legend Communications country stations of Wyoming -- KGWY-FM, Gillette; KZMQ-FM, Cody; and KLGT-FM, Buffalo-Sheridan, have raised over $100,000 with their annual St. Jude Radiothons. That takes the total raised over the past 11 years to more than $1.2 million.
WTOP Wins Bounty Of Awards
Nineteen Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association Awards, in fact, including the Outstanding News Operation award and the award for Best Website for WTOP.com. It was more awards than any other station in the metro region.
Did Mueller Destroy Evidence?
That's what Taylor Swift's legal team is claiming in the battle between the former KYGO DJ and the mega-star. People Magazine reports that Mueller recorded a meeting with KYGP management when the station was conducting its own investigation into the matter. And then, according to the magazine, Muller destroyed the recording on several devices he owned.
