Epic Shows For New Year’s Weekend In Vegas
CBS Radio has lined up four gigs for a special New Year’s Eve weekend at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Beginning Friday, December 29 and lasting into the early morning hours of 2018, the shows will play over three nights and feature Foo Fighters, Duran Duran, and Zac Brown Band with a special performance by Sir Rosevelt.

SiriusXM has announced its holiday music lineup, featuring eight commercial-free channels, two to broadcast starting Wednesday, November 1. The channels will offer listeners a variety of traditional holiday songs, classical Christmas carols, country Christmas classics, contemporary holiday tunes, soul music, Hanukkah music, and Latin seasonal music.
Beasley Same Station Q3 Revenue Was Flat
Beasley's pro forma revenues in the third quarter were flat compared to the same period in 2016. Beasley faced tough political comps from 2016 when they took in over $600,000. Backing out for political, revenue was up 1%. A bright spot for the company was Detroit, where revenue jumped over 29% in the quarter. Here are all the details.
DePetro Out At WADK
According to The Providence Journal, radio talk show host John DePetro said Friday that he has left WADK-AM in Newport and will be making a “major announcement” on Monday morning about where he is going next. DePetro was a talk show host on WPRO-AM for 10 years and had been on the air at the Newport station since January.
