Think of the coming year as a giant roller coaster: pretty intimidating when you walk up to it, moments of anticipation and maybe some fear, moments of thrills and screams of joy, and maybe you're a little wobbly when you step off the ride.

Howard Stern will have to leave the comfort of his Manhattan home and head to Cleveland, which he joked he was not pleased about, to induct his friend Jon Bon Jovi and his band into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Bon Jovi said, “Nobody knows not only me but the members of the band as well as Howard.” The ceremony is set for Saturday, Apr. 14.

Chris Jericho launched Talk is Jericho, in 2013 with PodcastOne. This month, Jericho decided to move his show over to Westwood One where he'll produce two shows every week (Wednesday and Friday). Jericho is a six-time WWE champion, a musician, and New York Times bestselling author.

Edward McLaughlin will be honored with the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award at the Broadcasters Foundation of America’s Golden Mike Award dinner, March 5, in New York City. McLaughlin founded EFM Media Management in 1987 and syndicated The Dr. Dean Edell Show. Shortly thereafter, he launched Rush Limbaugh into syndication.

Entercom has named Jennifer Seelig Director of News and Programming for KCBS All News (KCBS-AM and KFRC-FM) in San Francisco. Seelig has been with KCBS All News since 2001, most recently as Acting News Director, and prior to that as Assistant News Director.

Final round judges are set for the 27th Annual Radio Mercury Awards. Finalists for the awards will be announced in early April. Winners will be crowned May 31, at The Cutting Room in New York. Here is the 2018 Radio Mercury Awards Final Round Judging Panel...

The New York Market Radio Association has announced a new Chairman and Executive Committee of the Board, which includes new roles for existing members and new additions to the team. Scott Hopeck (pictured), President, iHeartMedia NYC, and current Secretary moves into the Chairman slot.

The company's Dallas cluster raised a total of $1,637,200 for Dallas-Fort Worth charities during 2017. The radiothons, events, and fund drives held by the seven stations benefitted a wide array of charities in the greater D-FW area.
