Pamal Broadcasting has hired A.J. Bodden as Market Manager in Albany (New York) where the company has six stations. Bodden previously worked as a VP at Townsquare where he managed a division of the company’s corporate live events business. He replaces Bryan Hollenbaugh who purchased a station in Gaylord, Michigan.

WSOU 89.5 FM, Seton Hall University’s much-heralded, student-run radio station, received a surprise at the annual Kilpop Radio Convention and Rock Radio Awards in Las Vegas: The station was inducted into the Rock Radio Hall of Fame during the Rock Radio Awards Ceremony.

eBay Joins Radio’s Top Five

With over 45,700 commercials aired on radio stations across America last week, GEICO remained the industry's top advertiser. Indeed.com moved up two spots to take the second position (29,905). Macy's was third on the Media Monitors list (29,268), followed by The Home Depot (26,588), and eBay, which came in at number five, after not even making the top 100 last week.

Niko Joins KMLE Mornings

Entercom has hired Nicholaus “Niko” Petrou as co-host on KMLE-FM (Country) in Phoenix. The station also renamed the show The Breakfast Buzz. Niko joins Nina D.  Prior to KMLE, Niko held a number of roles at Entercom Phoenix sister station WBMP-FM, including APD, Music Director, and midday host. He also hosted nights on WHTZ-FM in New York.

Albany’s 99.5 The River, “Today's Variety for Albany,” will see Tracy Villaume join Kevin Rush on its morning show, starting March 5. Kevin & Tracy in the Morning will broadcast weekdays 5:30–10 a.m. Villaume replaces Shanna, who moves to iHeartMedia Milwaukee’s FM106.1.
