DeBella Radiothon A Big Fundraiser For Veterans
The WMGK-FM host raised over $143,000 with his 13th Annual John DeBella Veterans Radiothon which supports local vets via the Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC). The event took place on Friday, June 15 at the National Constitution Center. The station has raised over one million dollars to support vets in need.
A Little Generous Bloodletting For Preston & Steve
Radio listeners have once again shown that they have big hearts. The 93.3 WMMR-FM (Philadelphia) Preston & Steve Show’s 13th Annual “I Bleed For Preston & Steve Blood Drive” produced 1,128 units of blood (including 147 Power Red donations) to benefit the American Red Cross Penn-Jersey Blood Services Region.

Jay Stevens Leaving Radio One
He's been the Senior Vice President of Programming at Radio One since 2007. Last night Stevens confirmed he's leaving the company at the end of July. He told Radio Ink he'll be taking a break.

Brown Back To Beaumont
Bo Brown is the new Market Manager for Cumulus' Beaumont, TX, cluster. Brown will manage KAYD-FM (NASH); KIKR-AM and KBED-AM (Sports); KQXY-FM (Q94); and KTCX-FM (Magic 102.5). It's a return to Beaumont for Brown, who started his radio career in 1992 as an AE for Petracom Broadcasting and was D.O.S. for Cumulus from 1997 to 1999.
Bond Is A “Sales Superstar” In North Carolina
WQDR-FM/Raleigh, NC, Account Executive Catherine Bond has won the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters Sales Superstar of the Year award for 2018. She received the award at the annual station awards luncheon held in Durham on Thursday, June 14.
