Young has assumed the role for Educational Media Foundation’s Air1 network. She joined Air1 almost 10 years ago and has served as morning co-host, midday air talent, APD, and Music Director.

Chris Debbins is the new Assistant Program Director for 98 PXY (WPXY-FM) in Rochester. Debbins will also continue in his current roles as afternoon drive host and Music Director, which he assumed in 2016.

Louisville Public Media has announced a special broadcast of Kentucky Shakespeare’s recent performance of The War of the Worlds across all three stations simultaneously (89.3 WFPL, 90.5 WUOL, and 91.9 WFPK), tonight at 9:00 p.m. 

Gabe Carrillo is the new Program Director and afternoon drive host of Mix 94.1 (WHBC-FM), effective November 1. Most recently, Carillo was with Saga Communications at WNRG-FM/Energy 106.9 in Milwaukee, WI.

The stars were out at The Carney Awards, Sunday night. Joe Morton, Jessica Walter, Joe Pantoliano, M. Emmet Walsh, James Cromwell, and Bruce Greenwood were honored for their outstanding achievements in character acting.

I had a follow-up meeting with this individual and his team along with my attribution provider, Analytic Owl, late last week. It was spirited and productive on a number of different levels.

Entercom has partnered with the Travis Manion Foundation’s Operation Legacy Service Project in Abington, PA, to renovate the home of Iraqi War veteran, Matthew Renner. Each April and November, the Travis Manion Foundation organizes Operation Legacy Service Projects, which unites communities for a common cause through volunteer-led service opportunities. 

99.7 Canton’s New Country also has a new Program Director. Scott Davidson has been named to the role and will double up on the job with My 101.7, The 80s and More. Davidson most recently served as morning show host on 101.7, and has held several programming positions throughout his career.
