Longtime host Gary Shores posted on the K100 (WKKO) Toledo Facebook page that he's leaving radio because of his lung disease. Shores has certainly battled adversity recently. In November his wife of 43 years died from cancer. His longtime radio partner, Harvey Steele died in 2017.

According to a social media post by his daughter former KOH-FM host Bill Manders died Monday. She wrote, "This man was my best friend. My hero. The best dad and Poppi. He was a fighter and I am heartbroken he is gone." Manders experienced health problems and had a kidney transplant 2014.
