ESPN-Portland & The FAN Do College Football Deal
The two stations (KMTT and KFXX respectively) have agreed to a multi-year affiliation agreement with the Washington State-IMG Sports Network. Cougar game-day broadcasts will now be broadcast on 910 ESPN-Portland for that city, with select games also airing on 1080 The Fan.
Entercom Stations Honored In South Carolina
Ten years of dedicated support has earned Entercom Upstate, a collective of seven regional radio stations, the accolades of the Greenville Health System. Upstate has supported the Children’s Hospital over the past decade and now the hospital is dedicating its fifth floor family room to the radio group.
Piazza Rebroadcast Recalls 9/11
On Thursday evening, Mets flagship 710 WOR-AM will again broadcast the home run that former star catcher Mike Piazza belted on September 21, 2001. It was the first homer by a New York player in the wake of the 9/11 tragedy. Airing at 6 p.m., it will be part of the lead-up to Saturday night’s ceremony retiring Piazza’s number.

Walgreens Jumps Into Top Three
The Home Depot and GEICO held onto their top spots, 1st and 2nd respectively, in the weekly Media Monitors chart. Walgreens moved up from 10th to 3rd by airing 28,439 commercials last week.
