NAB is pitching its New York show as a guide for stations juggling shifting technology and business models. AI, audience growth, streaming, and new revenue sources headline a lineup that NAB’s April Carty-Sipp says has something for every broadcaster.
Carty-Sipp previewed the show on the NAB Airtime podcast.
The NAB Marconi Radio Awards come first, on the Tuesday night before the show opens. In September, Radio Ink reported the ceremony is set for October 20 at the Edison Ballroom, hosted by 107.5 WBLS’s Deja Vu Parker with DJ Scratch as house DJ for a fifth consecutive year.
Of the Marconis, Carty-Sipp commented, “The energy in the room is so much fun. You’ve got everyone from college students to legendary stations and national personalities. And to see them be honored for their work in radio, it really is a special night. And it’s great to be there in person.”
Radio Ink‘s 34th Radio Wayne Awards will open the show at 10:15a ET on Wednesday in Theater C, followed by the panel “Award-Winning Audio: Inside the 2026 NAB Marconi Podcast Finalists.” BofA Securities’ Jessica Reif Ehrlich will lead “The Future of Media: Consolidation or Spin-Off?” from 2:30p to 3:15p ET the same day.
Carty-Sipp said, “We really have something for every broadcaster, whether you’re focused on news or sports, AI, audience growth is huge, streaming, always focused on revenue generation, or new technologies. There really are so many sessions and conversations that are designed to help you stay ahead of where the industry is going.”
NAB Show New York runs October 21 and 22 at the Javits Center in Manhattan, and broadcasters can still secure a seat via the NAB Show New York website.
